Death of Great Gatsby

The Fall of 1922, Gatsby was found dead in his pool surrounded by his blood. Police stated that, Wilson shoots Gatsby, killing him instantly, then shoots himself. Nick hurries back to West Egg and finds Gatsby floating dead in his pool. Gatsby's funeral was held on October 6th at 3:00 p.m. in his mansion. Surprisingly, very few people attended Mr. Gatsby's funeral. The West Egg Times sent a reporter to the funeral who stated that a total of eight people attended the event including servants, a few friends.

In the roaring 20's they had what they like to call Jazz age. They say that jazz was a symbol of the age that was a decade's spirit of liberation. At the time, there were new dances that have come that have brought others closer in contact with their partners. Music was a combination of nervousness and lawlessness. The music in the 1920's jazz, blues, swing, dance band, and ragtime was the most common music shown in the 20's.

They often went to great lengths to hide their stashes of liquor to avoid confiscation – or use as evidence at trial by police or federal agents during raids.

In the early 1920s they had minimal layers that have become the new standard. For the girls their clothes became shorter and looser. Dresses and skirts were now knee length and loose fitting. Shoes were made out of canvas, making them lighter and easier to wear.
