These Italian paintings are of a lot of humans in crowds as the backdrop is beautiful Italian art, glass pane, landscape, cities, rivers and other people. Featuring people or pairs of people doing their own thing, with beautiful nature backgrounds, insides of churches, and sculptures. We see an angel appearing to Zacharias in front of a group of people, another angel appearing in front of a women, another shows only a man and a women with her baby. The connections all of these have is the subtle large scale beautiful backgrounds with groups of people almost oblivious to the setting.

This Italian fresco style painting was made in 1490 and is now in the Tornabuoni Chapel in Florence. This painting was venerated in 6 different churchs. From the gospel of luke the image depicted is an angel appearing to Zachariah telling him that he will have a son and he will name him John. He was also told that his son would be the forerunner of the lord. The image shows the angel and Zachariah surrounded by a lot of people who are looking at what is happening. They seem to be in a church surrounded by beautiful sculptures and paintings above them. Everyone surrounded is in a type of robe all in similar colors.

Giorgione was trained by the father of the venetain school Giovanni Bellini and Giorgione eventually developed his own style of painting similar to Leonardo de Vinci. This paining is one of the firsts to have landscape play the major role also its composition and color makes it one of the most atmospheric works of the Venetian renaissance. In the foreground a nude woman is sitting on a small bank overlooking a stream, holding a baby to her breast. On the opposite side of the stream a well dressed young man has stopped to look at the woman. The beautiful background consists of both urban and countryside landscape.
