hello kak lyn!
before joining ethnic damce, i had no experience with malya dance. However, after md sessions with you, i truly learnt how to appreciate malay dance more (and also malay dance ofc :))!
thank you for being a super patient and amazing teacher who goes through each step in detail and ensures that everyone understands what they're doing before moving on :)

Hi Kak Lyn,
you have been such a huge part of my journey as a dancer and you have really guided me to grow and to (hopefully) blossom as a dancer. Under your guidance, I went from knowing nothing about Malay Dance to learning so many different styles of dance and it has really helped me to understand and appreciate the beauty of Malay culture. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor to impart your knowledge to us. Your cheerfulness, despite all the things that you may be going through, really keeps us going after a long day at school. Thank you for being so real with us and bringing a smile to our faces every session! We really appreciate you so much and happy teachers' day! <3

Thank you for being such an amazing and cheery malay dance teacher! I remember in year 1 when I had no malay dance background at all and knew nothing. Thank you for being so patient and not giving up on me! You have definitely made me feel much more motivated in CCA and I really appreciate everything you have done for us. Thank you for also being such a fun and caring instructor who I know I can go to if I ever need anything. You truly are one of the reasons why I love going to CCA! Happy teachers' day :)

Thank you so much for supporting me in my dance journey thus far! When we first entered Ethnic Dance, you were really patient and took the extra step to teach us using various methods so that we were able to understand. Your cheerful presence brightens the entire studio, and we really appreciate you for laughing along with us and cracking jokes!! Even though you may be going through many things, you put them away and dedicate your time to share your knowledge and passion for Malay dance with us. HELLO KAK LYN🤩🤩 The moment I saw you I started fangirling over EVERY SINGLE FIT of yours with the other SYF MD Y2s. All your fits were PERFECT I literally fell in love with them. You are so kind ; literally the nicest instructor I've ever seen. You remember you called me a "purple fluffy ball" when I wore house shirt to CCA once. I will never forget that. I missed you and MD so much and started watching the old MD SYF practice session videos and was so happy when I heard your name☹️☹️🤎. thank you for being such a caring, inspiring, funny and amazinggg instructor! i remember back in y2, when you first joined and i was still really lost about what malay dance is and just the mechanisms of it. i didn't have much of an emotional bond with malay dance. However, with you and your super patient guidance and help, i started to understand the worth and meaning of malay dance, and was able to become a much better dancer :)
And thank you so much for being so approachable and easy to talk to during cca sessions. with you, i found a new friend in cca that i could confide and talk to despite my insecurities. even the most exhausting cca sessions would be full of laughter and i would leave school feeling so much better. thank you so much for that! ♥︎
lastly, thank you so much for making me a much better person by giving me feedback and always giving me advice on how to go about it :D

Dear Kak Lyn,
Happy teachers day! When I first came to malay dance, I was unsure about it as I had no experience and was worried for myself. But as time went by, I realised how much of a wonderful family malay dance was and it was honestly such a memorable journey through SYF. You have been with us through everything, supporting us on our journey and even comforting us when we did not achieved the ideal results. You have always been so patient and so approachable! I have really loved the way you teacher, doing exercises to learn how to pass energy and make eye contact to interact with one another. These were lessons beyond just malay dance. Despite the fact that ccas were after school and I was very tired, it was all worth it and I was very satisfied in my improvement as a malay dancer. I am also super proud of officially being initiated as a powerful girl :)
All these small things really added to my memories and unforgettabl experiences! Right now, being in ID, both harshini and I have qlways talked about how we miss you so much and I really wish that I would be able to learn from you more next year :)
