It taught me that you can’t always get what you want and to never eat anything Matthew and Tim make. Y’all are some great people and im glad i got to spend almost a whole year with y'all. Mrs. Britt, you’re awesome and I appreciate you a lot. Sorry i slept a little bit in class:)

I mean you all are great and all, but the real star here is Mrs. Britt. Your time and dedication to us is like no teacher i’ve ever had. I’ve had a blast all year learning math which is something I never thought I could say. All 28 of us would laugh and cry daily, never leaving the excitement out of learning. I wish you all the best of luck and thank you all for such an amazing learning environment. And of course the biggest thank you of all goes to Mrs. Britt for her continued belief in us. They say you never forget your senior year, and i’m pretty sure our situation sheds a whole new light on that. Love you all, and thanks again!
-Dylan Greenawalt

I’ve never enjoyed a class and the people in my class as much as i did this semester. Seeing everyone and laughing with y’all is something i am going to miss (and already do)! Thank you Ms. Britt for being the best teacher i’ve ever had! You truly are a Star Teacher! Thank you for your love of math, making math fun, and most importantly, your love for your students. I’ve never encountered a teacher that cares more about their students and their lives outside of the classroom. I will miss our fun fridays, food days, and days discussing everything going on in our lives. Thank you

I don't necessarily know you all very well but you guys definitely made the class fun. I was glad to share many moments with everyone and I hope you guys are happy wherever you go after high school. Overall I just want to give a big thanks and shout out to Mrs. Britt for truly being one of the best teachers at Winder-Barrow High School considering how annoying we must have been all year. Mrs. Britt never forget you are a wonderful teacher and person because your instruction has really come from the heart and not every teacher's does.

First of all I would like to genuinely thank Mrs. Britt for everything she has done for us over the past couple of years. You have put in countless hours of hard work, lost numerous hours of sleep, drank hundreds of cans of Coke, and have been put through much more stress than anyone deserves in order to make sure we succeed. I am so lucky to have a teacher that is always there for me in and out of class that truly cares about not only my grades and future, but my wellbeing and life as well. From day one, you have always been real with us, and as young-adults preparing to set foot into the real world, that's exactly what we need. You have always been my favorite teacher, and I believe that you contain some magic super-power that helps us all understand all of the madness of pre-calc and calc. I can never thank you enough for your support, and for always pushing your students past mental-capacity to help us achieve our goals. You truly are the best! Secondly, I would like to thank my classmates. It's been amazing growing up with all of you. We've all constantly pushed and encouraged each other, and as a result have grown into hardworking, resilient human-beings. We've had our good days and bad days, but in the end, it was high school, and we're all just crazy kids. I cannot thank you enough for the amazing memories we've made in pre-calc, calc, and ap calc, and I wish you all the best of luck in college and beyond!
-Matthew Colosimo

I still remember the first day of pre-calc, when Mrs. Britt sat us all down and told us that the class would be hard and that we might not like her, even telling us that her former students called her "Mrs. Britch". I find it ironic that the complete opposite has happened. I believe that we can all agree that Mrs. Britt has been the best teacher that we've had, from motivating us and helping us succeed to making jokes and helping us relax after a week full of notes, tests, and studying. I've enjoyed every day in this class, from watching Sean play Jenga on Dawson's head, to watching weird things that are going on outside the windows, to seeing Drew walk by and cheering when he comes into class. It's been a blast guys, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Class of 2020 is the best!
-Dylan Mahoney

I remember the day our junior year schedules came out and I searched to see who I had for Pre-Calc. I saw the name “Stephanie Britt” and I thought “ oh my goodness that’s that scary 7 foot tall lady beside mrs.brock. i’m never going to survive this semester.” I have NEVER been a math person. As far back as I remember, I have never been good at math. I 100000% would’ve never guessed that I would’ve ended up in AP Calc. EVER. But the one person that changed the whole game for me was Mrs. Britt. I have never in my 13 years of school had a teacher that knew how to push me to excel while making me feel loved and capable while doing it. But Britt did that. I never really had a teacher-student bond in high school until I had her class. She always knew how to handle me, when some teachers didn’t know how. I don’t like to struggle, I like to know what i’m doing, but with precalc, that wasn’t the case. She taught me that it was okay to struggle but never okay to give up. She sat beside me many afternoons after school, in the morning, during class and walked me through these concepts I saw as impossible. I am now a much stronger student single handedly because of Mrs.Britt. As well as being the best teacher ever, you were one of the few constants in this COVID-19 mess. I remember being all freaked out about my senior year’s abrupt end. But i forced myself to wake up and get on your zoom and I remember after I got off, I cried from relief. You told us that no matter what happened in our world that it was going to be okay and that you loved us. Which meant more than you even knew. I don’t think I tell you enough how thankful I am for you, Mrs. Britt. You helped me go from crying at the kitchen table over a stupid problem to knowing what I was doing in Calculus. I am forever thankful for you and I love ya so much. -Kaylee McCullers

To Mrs. Britt, I quite honestly wanted nothing to do with math until I ended up in your Geometry class my sophomore year and over the course of a couple months you took me from hating math to loving it enough to rework my schedule just to take more math classes with you : ). You put in so much work to make sure we didn't just learn the material above and beyond what was required of you, but you always put in the effort to be there personally for us and to make sure it wasn't constantly just school; you made it a year to remember for the rest of my life. I always enjoyed being able to talk to you as a teacher and a person, and you've honestly inspired me in my own life and where it's taking me. To my wonderful classmates, you guys made senior year the highlight of highschool for me, and I won't be forgetting our time together anytime soon. Our class was always full of the things that made it a good class, the questions and the friendly atmosphere everyone had, but you guys made it a great class too with your jokes and your little pranks and skits and wonderfully diverting topics. You all made it into a class that I'll remember for a long time to come; thank you. I'm deeply grateful I got to take this class for everything I learned and being able to be there with all of you on this wild ride of a senior year.
-Kathryn Cushing

The past three semesters of calculus classes with Mrs. Britt have been hands down the most memorable classes of my high school career, and I will never forget any of the people that I was fortunate enough to spend time with in them. Mrs. Britt, even though Matthew and I liked to push the limits, it’s hard to put into words how much I appreciate all of the time, effort, and love that you gave each of us. My character, confidence, and knowledge grew more in your classroom than in any other, and I can only hope to have teachers half as good as you in college. I’m sorry Matthew and I flicked stuff on your desk, stained your cabinet, spilled green beans on your carpet, touched your blinds, interrupted class, built forts with your desks, and made dirty jokes about updating calculators. Thank you for your patience. And thank you everyone else for putting up with Matthew and I when we weren’t being as funny as we thought we were.
