So we got tornado watch warnings while listening to the radio (and we were in Nags Head so it was very staticy or whatever).I PRAYED that the expected places for it to hit didn’t include Nags Head,and THANK THE LORD THEY DIDNT SAY NAGS HEAD >:0. So anyway we were going to cross this big bridge that heads northeast (I think) and apparently the tropical storm was right overtop it.We didn’t want to wait and get food from somewhere because we will still deal with the storm,so we decided to go on the bridge and get past the storm.But there was pouring rain,couldn’t see much in front of us. Cars were stopping IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING ROAD,and worst yet,lightning was striking feet or even INCHES away from us.I was so happy we made it out alive.
