She’s dressed in a sort of a professional way as she is appearing on television in the early morning, and the people who are awake to watch something early in the morning will probably be wearing similar clothing. Her hair isn’t really eccentric or in a crazy style, it’s just nice and normal, which again fits with the style of the programme. Though it has clearly been styled, even if it’s not

The quality of the video makes it hard to tell if she has makeup on or not, but it’s likely she doesn’t have much on. Like a small amount here and there

She speaks very clearly and loud enough for people to hear when watching at home, it’s quite easy to listen to her as she doesn’t go too fast for people to follow, so you know what she’s saying. There doesn’t seem to be an abnormal use of large words used in her vocabulary, probably because the audience will likely be around middle - working class people, as ‘This Morning’ is shown on ITV which is available for free. When speaking to the guests on the show she sounds quite friendly and welcoming to them, which is good for her role as a presenter.

When she isn’t speaking and the camera is on her and Phillip, Holly appears to be very still, and she really doesn’t move that much, which is probably not to take away the attention from the people who are having a conversation. In most of the shots Holly is holding something in her hands, so she doesn’t really move them much either when she is speaking and being focused on by the camera. Her facial expressions make her seem focused, and possibly curious when asking the guests their questions. Towards the end she gets emotional, and cries but she laughs at the same time.

The colours could represent something like love or danger if someone looks at it in a certain way. She looks as if she’s going out to have a good time.

Her hair is really similar to on this morning, which is probably from her own personal preference to wear her hair that way.

| In Celebrity Juice she’s a lot more informal and fun in the way she’s speaking, though she still speaks in a similar tone to on This Morning because it’s likely that that is her normal speaking voice. In the way she speaks to the other people on the show though, she’s different there too as she swears at people “You can p*ss off as well” and doesn’t seem to have to uphold that professional and kind personality that she would on morning television. Holly looks like she can have fun with people on this programme as if they’re friends rather than guests.

| Holly is smiling a lot in this programme, showing us that it’s a lot more light-hearted and likely to have people laughing so it represents the members of the audience watching it at home. She’s also moving around a lot and interacting with the people around her more, and laughing with them. When some of the challenges are named she reacts accordingly to the description, with a sort of “oh” reaction to a challenge involving bikinis and a paddling pool of jelly.

| She’s dressed very formally, wearing an elegant dress to go along with the formal feeling of the show, her jewellery also fits with the style and the theme. There is makeup on her face, and it seems heavier than the makeup that she wears on Celebrity Juice or This Morning, though it still looks a bit subtle, to the audience. Her hair is clearly more styled than on the other programmes, as once again the show is more formal and everyone else is in a similar fashion.

Due to the studio it’s being filmed in being large with a big audience, she speaks louder than the other programmes so that she can be heard better, whereas for Celebrity Juice or This Morning she doesn’t have to speak up as much due to there being a smaller area. Her tone is very friendly and welcoming once again when speaking on the contestants of the show. She uses bigger words to describe people on the programme such as “Fabulous’.

Throughout the programme Holly is smiling and in a very cheery and joyous mood, probably to keep the people watching in a good mood and to have the people contesting have an uplifting feeling by simply being around her when she’s like that. Much like on This Morning though when Phillip is talking she seems very still and calm as to not take the attention away from him as he says things that are likely important to the people who are watching, or to the contestants as it could be seen as rude.

The audience for This Morning seems like it could include members of any gender, though there is a chance that having a popular female presenter could bring in a larger audience of women. When it comes to the time that the programme is showing anyone could be watching it, as there is a substantial amount of people who are up in the morning for many reasons such as getting their kids up for school, getting ready to go to work, and other arrangements. The age group could vary as there is a lot of different people that would be awake at that time of day, as mentioned above there will be adults doing those things, but there will also be children or teenagers who are watching it as they get ready to go to School or College in the morning. If we're adhering to the VALs audience theory then I feel like survivors, strivers, or believers could be a part of This Morning's audience, people who fit in to the survivor will likely be at home when it's on, possibly watching on freeview so it won't be a problem for them to watch. Strivers might be interested in watching it because there are some things that happen on the show like a chef making an appearance, which they might want to recreate themselves so it's helping them. Believers will likely be watching as they are known for having families and being very traditional, so they'll likely be up in the morning, ready to go to work or to church or something along those lines, and it's there for them to watch.

Compared to the audience of This Morning, Celebrity Juice holds a younger audience in it's grasp. This is clearly obvious to us with the content that is being shown, they have sexual jokes, swearing, lots of friendly banter in between. There is a strong presence of males and females on the programme, and it attracts a young audience of both genders rather than just focusing on a primarily male or female audience. This is well represented in the colours of the show's logo which features blue and pink colours. Once again if we look at the values, attitudes and lifestyles of the audience we see that there is a high likeliness that there will be survivors and/or makers. Unlike the survivors that watch This Morning they will probably be a lot younger age wise, this might include high school students or college students still living with their parents. When it comes to the makers though, they will likely be young people trying to look after themselves like university students that are living alone for the first time, who will probably enjoy the theme and comedy that is included when they watch.

When it comes to the audience of Dancing on Ice, it would seem that it's more attractive to older people than younger people as it seems to be in a very formal settings. Everyone who appears on the programme is dressed quite formally, featuring things such as suits, tuxedos and long dresses that reach the floor. It's also something that seems quite professionally done, and even though it does have some people in the audience who are young (around 18+) there will probably be more people who are around 45 and older who watch it, due to the people who appear on it, how old they are and the ways they act and dress. Females will probably be more inclined to watch this programme than males as there seems to be more interest in things like dancing from women rather than men. If the VALs of the audience come into play then there's a better chance that the audience will be filled with thinkers, who will fit with how professional it is as they are professional and educated people. Achievers or innovators may be interested in this too, as they may want to do some of the things that they see on the show, and innovators may like the things such as the clothing, or jewelry that people are wearing, they may be interested in looking like they do or going to places like that in their free time.

When they're presenting Britain's Got Talent, Ant and Dec will normally wear casual clothing for the audition shows because they're meant to be informal compared to the live shows that they do, due to the fact that the audition shows aren't meant to be taken as seriously, the people who are going to perform as well as the judges will most likely be dressed in the same manner. Their hairstyles seem to look the same as they always do when they're seen on TV. It's completely different though when they're presenting for the live shows such as the semi finals or the finals themselves, because they wear more formal attire, such as suits or tuxedos to fit with what everyone else is wearing, as the judge's wear dresses and suits themselves.

When it comes to finding out who is watching Britain's Got Talent it isn't really hard, it's shown on a wildly popular channel spread across the UK, during a time where most people will be at home to watch it (around 7:30 - 9:00pm.) It seems to get a lot of attention from young people who are definitely talking about it on the different forms of social media, and the older generations who might enjoy it when watching TV one evening in the weekend as it gets later into the night. There doesn't appear to be a definitive line between genders, as people of the different genders tend to find it quite entertaining to watch when they're at home, which shows that they branch out to a wide audience across the UK. When trying to categorise the audience members into the VAL's, it would seem that Strivers may be the most likely to watch BGT, as it's on an affordable programme, and it gives them things to think about when watching it, and just like achievers could if they watched it, they may see that the people who are competing and auditioning on it are simple and normal people which may cause them to go on it themselves if they feel inspired enough. Experiencers could also be a part of it, as they want to see different talents people have and experience what they do through the programme.

Much like on Britain's Got Talent they're quite friendly to the people competing, and professional at the same time. Once again they don't use any complicated or articulate language when speaking to people, which makes it easier for people to understand. Their accents aren't too strong either so people can definitely easily listen to what they have to say. Their tones do change though when announcing things such as who is being eliminated, it becomes more serious to fit with the situation. Although when they speak to the eliminated celebrities about their time on the programme they are friendly and talkative, which does uplift the mood.

Unlike how they act when they are working on Britain's Got Talent they don't seem to be as fun and energetic, but they do have fun when on the show. Some of the things the celebrities do in the eating challenges sometimes entertains them which makes it look like they're having fun being there, which is good for the people watching it as they feel then that they can laugh along at a celebrity that is struggling to chew through testicles or something of that sort.

I'm A Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here - Target Audience

The audience for I'm a Celebrity could be the exact same as the audience for BGT, as they're both on the exact same channel at the exact same times, but with different showing times in the year (one is around the middle of the year and one is almost at the end of the year.) The people that appear on the programme could attract people of varying age groups, like if they got a famous singer from the 1970's on the programme then they could attract people who are older who knew about them in that time, as well as someone who is quite famous in the current day that will be popular with the younger generations at the time the show is aired. For the VAL's I think that Experiencers could definitely fit into the audience, because they want to see what it's like to experience life when living in a jungle (if you don't count the challenges that they do,) as it could be intriguing to them. Survivors and Strivers/Achievers could also be included into the audience as Survivors will be at home at the time it is showing, and it's on a channel that is widely accessed and available on FreeView Television. Achievers/Strivers could be interested in it as they might want to be the celebrities, and get onto the show themselves as they find it appealing to take a part of.
