Goal:

- Understand American clothing culture.

- Experience and understand American subculture.

Session 1: Topic Selection and Basic Research (August)

- Topic Selection: Comparing Clothing Culture in the U.S. and Korea.

- Preliminary Research: Collect basic data (articles, community posts, etc.) on clothing from both cultures. Identify key features and differences.

Session 2: Investigate and Analyze Details (September)

- Investigate Details: Each group member collects in-depth data from major fashion communities in the United States.

- Discussion and Comparative Analysis: Compare the similarities and differences between the two cultures based on the collected data.

- Organize Results: Organize and share the comparative analysis results.

Session 3: Preparing for Presentation (November)

- Share the findings by posting the research outcomes

Goal: To find and share new AI models that only have positive effects without causing problems, and to help improve the economies and societies of different countries by making existing AI models better.

Session 1 (August)

- Research the types, roles, and distribution rates of AI in each country and weigh the pros and cons

Purpose of Session 1: To learn about AI and see if they have good or bad effects in each country. If they are bad, think about how to make them better. This will help us find and share AI models that only have good effects.

Session 2 (September)

- After identifying the positive or negative impacts, find ways to ensure AI with good impacts stays good without causing new problems. Also, find ways to change AI with bad impacts into AI with good impacts, and look for new AI models that help the economy and society.

Purpose of Session 2: To find methods to keep AI with good impacts from causing new problems, ensure AI stays genuinely positive, and change AI with bad impacts into AI with good impacts. This will help the economies and societies of different countries and find new positive AI models.

Session 3 (November)

1. Gather and summarize the positive impacts of AI from Session 2.

2. Identify new AI models found and their positive impacts on the economy and society.

3. Post these findings

Purpose of Session 3: To share our findings with others, showing how AI can positively impact different countries, and to introduce new positive AI models that can help improve the economy and society.

Purpose:

This project aims to share various media content, such as movies, dramas, music, and webtoons, from different regions and countries. By doing so, we can learn about each other's cultures and exchange creative ideas. As high school students, we want to spread the fun and value of media content to more people through our initiative.

Main Activities:

Participants introduce and share their favorite movies, dramas, or songs.

- Analyze the data collected in Session 1.

- Identify the differences and similarities between Korean and American students in terms of food culture, school life, and language use.

- Organize the information into a clear format for presentation.

- Prepare and practice the presentation.

Goal: To compare the culture and lifestyle between Namyangju and Brea city before and after the global outbreak of COVID-19.

- Compare and summarize the culture in schools, workplaces, and daily life in the U.S. before and after COVID-19.

Purpose: Since everyone is of a similar age group, the aim is to introduce and learn about the food trends of each country.

First: Research trendy foods in Korea and the United States, and predict what the trendy foods in the United States might be.

Second: Confirm whether the predicted trendy foods in the United States are accurate, and then compare the trendy foods in Korea with those in the United States.

Objective: To briefly identify the main differences in clothing culture between the U.S. and Korea, enhancing cultural understanding.

Steps:

1. Topic and Material Selection

Quickly find basic information about the clothing culture of the U.S. and Korea.

Collect simple data from online encyclopedias or fashion websites using key terms (e.g., casual, formal occasions, seasonal clothing).

2. Comparison and Summary of Key Elements

Based on the collected data, summarize and compare the clothing cultures of each country.

Example: Korea tends to prefer styles that reflect trends, while the U.S. emphasizes individuality.

Organize the comparison results into 3 to 5 points.

3. Sharing Results and Discussion (30 minutes)

Share opinions on the comparison results and briefly discuss the cultural differences discovered.
