         <title>2.) Weather:                        Period runs from December to May. It is the warmest time of the year, both in terms of air temperature and sea temperature. The temperature ranges from 27ºC to 32ºC (80ºF to 90ºF) and the water temperature varies from 21ºC to 26ºC (70ºF to 80ºF).Period runs from June to November, dominated by the Humboldt Current, which brings a cooler current to the islands. Temperatures at this time of year vary from 21ºC to 27ºC (70ºF to 80ºF) and the water temperature from 18ºC to 24ºC (65ºF to 75ºF). Often this time of year, it is gray and-cloudy.</title>

Other Important information:                                        The official name of these islands is Archipelago de Colón and it first appeared as Enchanted Islands in 1589, but it was the navigators who changed the name to the Galapagos Islands because of the giant tortoises that live there. They are located in the Pacific Ocean about a thousand kilometers from the coast.</title>
