I chose this image because the artist did well to show an abundance of life, and I think the lungs are especially life giving. In the bible, the concept of the breath of life is used in several occasions. Even if trees and lungs have very different ways of breathing, I think they are synonymous in being symbols for life.

I chose this song lyric because it can be applied to a lot of areas in my life. The meaning behind this song is when life gets crazy and busy we have to remember to "just breathe" and rest in the peace of God. I think that if we fill our "lungs" with the peace of God all of our worries and anxieties can be lifted!

All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness. When I think about breath this is always the verse that comes to mind. His breath holds so much power. I vhose this pivture because it shows how much life can be given by your lungs and through breathing. Every detail is so intricate and thought out. if one thing was off the rest of the lings would be too.

I chose these lyrics because Christmas seems to be right around to corner and when I saw the assignment's criteria, I immediately thought of this song. The breath that the song talks about is the strength, peace, and comfort that we receive from God that helps us get though tough times (or just the day). I also found this image online that fits perfectly with the lyrics with (our) arms stretched out and receiving God's grace.

I chose this because that incident was very scary and showed how vital our lungs and breathing are for life. That might seem obvious, but when something like this happens, we realize just how crazy it is that one organ can be responsible for so much, and makes us think about why God created us that way.

Plenty of research suggests optimistic people have a reduced risk of heart disease, stroke, and declines in lung capacity and function. Optimism is also associated with a lower risk of early death from cancer and infection. The quote also represents my personality of being a optimist and live happily everyday. Just like “ Life is good, but do not be afraid of death."

As we are all familiar with, oxygen is important for us. We breathe air in and get the oxygen in our lungs to provide us with a living source. Like the lyrics said, "This is the air I breath, Your holy presence living in me." God put his love in us, he lives in us. He is an important part of our life and also for us. At the end of the talk we started talking about strategies we can use to calm and ground ourselves and one of those was breathing. Crazy enough if you close your right nostril and just breath through your left it relax's you and its easier to be more calm. If you do the opposite and breath through your right it activates your fight or flight and your more alert. So if you are in a game and you need to chill out close your right nostril and if you need to be alert do the opposite ;)

I think it also shows the importance of breathing peacefully. Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. - Psalm 150:6

The Lord replied, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” - Exodus 33:14

I chose this song because it was a song that my family held dear to our hearts during my grandpas passing away. Since he was infected by covid the damage was really in his lungs. There is a line in the song where it sings "you're the breath in my lungs and I pour out my praise to you only." This helped my family to remember to praise God even through the tough circumstances.

This picture kinda reminds me of the plant respiration that happens on plants. Leaf takes the oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. This is just like humans processing cellular respiration, we also take oxygen to carbon dioxide. We are Kinda similar are we? (Well, except we can't do photosynthesis) But I think this picture can perfectly describe how respiration works in our lungs.

Instead, you have to do what this quote says, you need to take a couple of deep breaths, get yourself together, and get it the next time.

While we learned about the respiratory system in the human body, there are so many small details that God put in place. All the little cilia and how they protect our lungs.

This was the moment that human life began. He took something so simple (dust) and made it into something so complex! It's interesting to think that, for most people, you don't have to think about when you breath. You just do it. God is in control of even the simplest of things, breathing in and breathing out. He formed us by his breath.
This shows us him power and control over all things!
