Create a personalized license plate using only the letters from the periodic table of the elements.

The letters that are used must  follow the rules of the periodic table.  For instance, if the letter is a capital on the table then it must also be a capital on your  license plate, and the same is true for lower case letters.

Check list for a assignment completion:

  • Element symbol written correctly (capital and lower case rules followed)?
  • Element name to match the symbol you are using?
  • Atomic number identified?
  • Atomic mass identified?
  • Does your license plate spell something?   Does it make sense?
  • Does it look like a license plate?
