But, then he realizes how much fun the other children are having and decides kindergarten isn't all that bad. This story would be great for a parent to read to their child in preparation for kindergarten or preschool. After a tragic event that occurs at her place of worship, Amina starts to realize that her religion is a part of who she is and that she should not be ashamed of her background. He uses past events in his life to fuel his writing, such as his dog that passed away.
