You don't forget to try the Fish amok. In the Khmer diet, rice and freshwater fish play big roles because of the abundance of both. Amok is a national dish, made from fish, coconut milk and curry paste. All the ingredients are mixed together and put in banana leaf cups with coconut cream on top, then steamed. Another common form is amok chouk – snails with curry steamed in their shells. It's best served with a plate of hot, steamed rice.

Mongolian food is different from the cuisine of any other culture or country. Shaped by the largely sterile geographical conditions of the region and the predominantly nomadic way of life, food in Mongolia reflects the function approach in the first place that land and culture require. Meat and milk from cattle - in particular, the Five Nest: horses, yaks, camels, goats and sheep - play a prominent role in Mongolia's traditional food, as well as its fat, whose food helps nomadic Mongols withstand harsh winters.

Buuz
Buuz is a type of meat dumpling that is steamed. It is made with lamb meat, onions and spices. It is a very popular dish in Mongolia and is usually served with soy sauce or pepper.
