Hi, I'm Mia and I thought I'd make a blog to show everyone how passionate I am about Dance.
My Journey;
I've been dancing for around 12 years now and there hasn't been a day that I have enjoyed every little part of it. I started dancing when I was around 4 years old, and started off doing Jazz, Contemporary and Ballet. The dance school I went too was a type of school that was to compete in competitions. I had been dancing there for around 5 years and it taught me that even if you don't come first, you'll always be a winner in yourself but then after that I changed to another dance group that doesn't compete in competitions but do showcases instead. I am still currently part of the dance school and hope to be there for a long time too. The type of dance I do now is street/hip hop, and when I first started doing this type of dance, it was quiet difficult to grasp because it was so new to me, but after 7 years of dancing there, I would like to think I have improved at is since the beginning. So as you may be able to understand through this piece of text, dance has always been throughout my life, along with education and family. Some people tell me that dance is something that people learn. But in my case, dance is my escape from reality, dance helps me to relief stress and any emotions I may experience, so for me, dance is MY reality, in my daily life nothing wouldn't be normal if I didn't dance because I'm always surrounding myself with music, whether that's outside or in my head, I'm always dancing.
What I currently do now;
After being in education for 11 years, I finally knew what I wanted to do when I finally reached college. So now I am currently taking "Performing Arts" as a course because it will allow me to pursue my dream of teaching dance,
