Throughout the year, trainees have the opportunity to apply for paid placements in their chosen department on UK productions which pay into the ScreenSkills skills funds. In addition to placements, they receive a wealth of training to prepare them for a career in the industry, as well as lots of other support.

It provides ‘set-ready’ training to talented individuals to support them as they apply for placements on children’s TV, film and high-end TV productions.

The cashier works as part of the production accounting team. Cashiers help assistant accountants and production accountants keep accurate records of how the money on a production is spent. They primarily deal with expense claims, comparing what people have claimed with the receipts they have submitted, and making sure VAT is claimed where

Art department assistants (ADA) work within the art department. They assist members of the team, including the supervising art director (SAD), production designer (PD), art director (AD) and the art department coordinator (ADC). They are responsible for supporting the art department office, ensuring there is sufficient equipment and resources for daily use.
