These children can not tell if they did something incorrectly because they view the world in a way where they see themselves as being victimized by everyone. These kids will get very angry whenever they are told they are doing something wrong because they really do not feel like they did anything wrong.
Summary About ODD

ODD or Oppositional Defiant Disorder is a behavioral disorder that affects many children and teens all over the world. This disorder can be managed but there is not yet a known cure. In some cases it could be difficult to figure out if your child has ODD or is just very misbehaved. Children with ODD can show aggression towards people who should have control over them, such as teachers guardians. It is important to note that kids with ODD are only defiant with people and do not show aggression towards other living things such as animals. If the child were to show aggression towards all living things this would be a different condition known as Conduct Disorder (CD). Children with ODD are also extremely defiant and stubborn and will not listen when they are told to change their behavior. There are many different treatments for ODD, some may be more effective than others depending on the child. Some of these treatments include, therapy, anger management courses/classes and various kinds of teaching/parenting techniques. Having a very clear and stable schedule for the child is also beneficial. It is important to understand that children with ODD are not just misbehaved. Children with ODD are very unlikely to respond positively to discipline, because they can’t understand that they have done anything wrong (which causes a lot of anger.) Children with ODD also have trust issues with people that should have authority over them which will cause them to be very oppositional. Moreover, children with ODD also firmly believe that they have not done anything wrong. This makes them more inclined to think that whoever called them out is tricking them, which will cause a buildup of anger in the child. All in all, ODD is a very common disorder in children that will most likely be seen if you specialize in working with children and therefore is important to be knowledgeable about

.
