I feel concerned and sympathetic toward the people facing displacement. It seems unfair that some communities are already being forced to leave because of climate impacts they had little hand in causing. I also feel hopeful that people are speaking up and pushing for policy changes, though frustrated that action has been so slow.

Personally, this article connects to what I've learned in Environmental Science about climate justice and how those who contribute least to carbon emissions are often those who suffer most from climate impacts. It also reminds me of migration issues we studied ,refugees, asylum seekers — and how climate displacement might become a bigger part of world migration in the future.
