Many people wouldn’t just want to join a war for any reason. But this is where the poster comes in, to appeal to the audience the poster would have to include many patriotic symbols. This would have more and more people want to join the fight to defend their country. Our poster uses facts because in WWII the Allied and Axis went to war. The Allied was led by Great Britain, United States, and the Soviet Union. The Axis consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan.

The Allied was created to stop all of the aggression from Germany and the Central powers. The Axis powers, mainly Germany, surrendered on May 7th 1945. They surrendered because the Allied had them in a circle. The final attack between the Axis and Allied was when the atomic bomb was dropped on Japan. This also marked the end of WWII because the Axis did not have an atomic bomb.

This attack was deliberately planned by Japan, during this time Japan has also attacked Hong Kong, The Philippines, Guam, and other American occupied territories.

As the Commander in Chief of the American Army and Navy I have taken all measures as an act of War and our whole nation will remember the onslaught that has been brought against us.

No matter how long it may take us to overcome this unprecedented invasion, the American people will gain the inevitable triumph so help us God. I ask that the Congress declare a state of war which has existed between the United States and the Japanese Empire since Sunday, December 7th, 1941.
