The world is constantly changing, if we do as educators do not change alongside then we are not doing our duty. Not every child experiences or learns things the same way, meaning we must look at our education system and reevaluate our methods.

With advances in studying neurological processes, there is a lot of knowledge out there about neurodivergence, meaning that people learn in different ways. Neglecting to acknowledge that learning happens differently for different people, is not serving students, and in fact can cause them damage to their sense of self.

With the rapid changes in society, the methods we have previously used to solve many of the problems we face are no longer effective. We need to develop new ways of thinking in order to design better solutions, services and experiences that solve our current problems in the education system. This also relates to teaching because our environment changes constantly which means as teachers we should also evolve with it.

I think it means that there has to be a change on how the teacher teaches the material. It can't always be the same. Every child is different. Not every child will understand how the teacher explains the lesson. So to have an alternative can help children understand the material.

This world is characterized by change. Our perceptions and views of things and ideas change with age and maturity. Throughout our lives, we learn and gain experiences that contribute to who we are today. As children reach puberty and discover their true purpose, their thinking changes gradually. Their eagerness or motivation to attain their goal helps them achieve it. With changes, new and old methods can still work to meet the needs of our students.

I think being mindful of current events as well as teaching a variety of topics always in an age appropriate way is important. Its also important to take in to consideration and be mindful of different cultures and be sensitive to what you say and how you teach certain topics. If the schedule ever allows some extra time to teach topics not in the curriculum, i think it would be a good time to teach things that your class may be interested in.

Education is not meant to be static because the needs of students and communities change over time. As society changes and technology advances, educators will have to reevaluate themselves in order to make sure they are giving the best possible education for their students' present and future.

When I hear a statement like this, what comes to my mind immediately is there is a disconnect somewhere. Saying we need new ways of learning and teaching; signals former methods no longer work. When old strategies are used no longer suits the time or the people it was designed for If a method is so outdated it should be reconstructed to benefit both students and teachers.
