I think this because on page 5, paragraph 3, it says, "From the start, Hitler convinced Germans that Jews were to blame for all the country's problems." This shows that Hitler is charismatic and power-hungry. He is using the Jews as a scapegoat and taking advantage of the the fact that the Germans wanted to blame someone. Hitler was arrogant because he thought only pure, Aryan Germans were allowed to survive... along with himself of course. Hitler's own grandmother is suspected to be Jewish, and he had dark hair and eyes. He was the opposite of his blond haired, blue eyed race. Hitler was power-hungry and persuasive because he took advantage of Germany's loss in WW 1 and convinced everybody that he would be the best ruler to regain Germany's pride.

Chapter 4-6
Did the Franks have any neighbors that they suspected would give them away? Did the Franks live in a neighborhood with lots of Jews that are leaving? How old was the age limit for concentration camps?  Is there any friends or relatives that the Franks can hide with that aren't Jews? How will the Franks stock up on food and water once they run out at the annex? Will anybody else hide in the annex with the Franks? If a Jew doesn't show up to the labor camp like they're supposed to, will the Natzis chase them down? Will the Natzis sell their old house or watch it so the Jews can't return? How do the Natzis choose who to go to the labor camps? Is it the youngest and fittest?
