The planets average surface temperature has risen degrees Fahrenheit since the late 1800's, with most warming happening over the past 35 years. The top 700 meters of the ocean show that they have warmed .3 degrees Fahrenheit. Greenland and Arctic ice sheets have decreased in mass 150 cubic kilometers between 2002 to 2005. Glaciers are retreating everybody, snow covering the Northern hemisphere is decreasing, sea levels have risen about 8 inches, the thickness and extent of Arctic sea ice has rapidly declined,  record high temperatures have been increasing in the US, acidity on the surface of the ocean waters have increased by 30%.
