I have lived in Busselton since I was 5 years old, and finished my primary and secondary schooling there as well. It is certainly a lot quieter than Perth, and easier to drive in. Bunbury is considered the big city compared to the more rural regions like Busselton, Dunsborough, etc. It is very coastal-centred, and the regions usually have distinct attributes. For example, Margaret River is known for its scenery and wine.

I grew up in Busselton and went to school there and upper schooling in Bunbury. Moved to Perth in 2023 for further education and miss the environment frequently. Perth feels very hurried, everyone is always in a rush. Time is slower back home

I've been privileged to have spent a lot of time in the South West, going on holidays and surrounding myself in the natural beauty of the region. I find that the districts are similar in their friendliness and mellow nature but each is slightly different in their own way.

I have lived in Bunbury my whole life and moved up to Perth for university. Perth is very hectic, and I miss the calm and quietness of a regional town.

I have had the privilege of spending the last four Christmases down south across Margaret River, Donnybrook, Bunbury and Busselton. It is so beautiful and I am excited for my placement experience

I regularly visit Busselton, Dunsborough or Margaret River for holidays and have lots of family in Bunbury. Its one of my favourite places to travel and love love love the beach

I have lived in Bunbury and explored the South-West since I was 12. I enjoy the lush winters and hot and sunny summers, as well as our nice crisp southwest air. I think Bunbury is a nice relaxing place. My favourite parts of the SW are Gnomesville and The Bunbury Farmers Market and Vasse Village (yum).

I have had the privilege of frequenting the South West for almost 30 years for both work and pleasure. There are many favorite places that have been there forever, the must go to every time places and new and emerging favorites and the places that are exposed by others who have uncovered a hidden gem. I am known to make the drive from Perth to pick up some cheese from Cambray (grateful they delivered weekly during COVID), Hipcamps throughout the entire region gives me the grounding and opportunity to slow down from the city. There are too many unique people, places and experiences to list !! This is a region that we have had on the top of our list to relocate to for many years.

I have lived in Bunbury since I was born and have loved every moment of it. I have been to every district except Nannup. I love the feel of the country and the slow pace and the beautiful air and light. I just love getting away from it all.

I have lived in the south west for almost a decade now and absolutely love it. I grew up in Perth and Southern Cross before that, both very different to where i am now. The rough coastlines and lush forests are my favourite, its so peaceful down here compared to the chaos of the city and dryness of the desert
