Danger Energy?

Energy is a great need for his generation and technology era. As the population increases the countries are consuming too much energy. As a result of this governments are trying to find sustainable sources to use and generate energy. The energy form is mostly electricity. The generated heat energy or kinematic energy is converted into electricity and electricity is the most common energy source to use in daily life or in business life. It has a huge area for consumption. Because of that, the demand for electricity is too high. And energy is a country’s biggest power. When we look at the most developed countries, the countries are generating their own energy. This is important for a country’s independence. There are many different ways to produce energy. But the environment is negatively affected by this process stage. And recently, the world is trying to find sustainable sources to decrease the negative effect of fossil fuels.

The decay of buried carbon-based creatures that perished millions of years ago produces fossil fuels. They produce carbon-rich deposits, which are mined and burnt for energy. They are non-renewable and now provide roughly 80% of global energy. They're also utilized to produce plastic, steel, and a variety of other things. Coal, oil, and gas are the three forms of fossil fuels. When fossil fuels are burnt, massive volumes of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas, are released into the atmosphere. Global warming is caused by greenhouse gases, which trap heat in our atmosphere. Warming exceeding 1.5°C increases the danger of rising sea levels, harsh weather, biodiversity loss and extinction, food scarcity, and increasing health and poverty for millions of people throughout the world. So, the governments recently have turned to seek sustainable and clean energy sources. Such as Solar Power, wind power, hydropower, geothermal energy biomass, biofuels. But there is another clean energy source that is more efficient and cleaner. That is nuclear energy.

Nuclear energy is energy in the nucleus (core) of an atom. Atoms are tiny particles that make up every object in the universe. There is enormous energy in the bonds that hold atoms together. Nuclear energy can be used to make electricity. Nuclear power facilities generate steam by heating water. Steam is used to generate power by spinning enormous turbines. The heat created during nuclear fission is used to heat water in nuclear power plants. Atoms are torn apart to produce smaller atoms in nuclear fission, which releases energy. Nuclear power helps to safeguard the environment by generating large volumes of carbon-free electricity.

Nuclear energy has many pros when we look at energy production. But there is a huge danger. If the country cannot build a power plant suitable to the safety guards or if they make a little mistake, it causes huge disaster which affects the human and environmental life permanently. And this accident can not be solved quickly. Such as the Chernobyl disaster. When I have watched the result of its effects, it was a shock to me. I am still confused about this issue. Is it worth taking such a risk? I think we need to develop our technology and minimize the effects of it and after that, we can build great plants.
