It starts on May 23rd and it is led by The British Film Institute. I chose this course mainly because as I teach Literature to 4th, 6th and 7th form, I think I can profit from its resources and strategies and to use films or short videos to make the experience of "learning literature" more fun! !

I usually read books with my students and sometimes we watched movies that are adapted versions of them. 
I think that watching films or having some kind of visual image can motivate children in our classroom.
This MOOC provided several tools and ideas that can be explore when watching a film with our students.

Every lessons was devoted to tackle different ideas. For example: how film  watching can enhance our student`s written production, support communication and comprehension. It also showed how to make our students aware of not only the plot of the film but also the colours, characters, setting, the props, etc. 
Along with every lesson, the MOOC also provided worksheets to be use in our lessons which I think was very useful and the activities were well thought of. ]]> 2016-06-29 00:10:05 UTC https://padlet.com/paolitenzsambu/y6pk9vb72uff/wish/115630088 paolitenzsambu https://padlet.com/paolitenzsambu/y6pk9vb72uff/wish/115630106 I think that althought the topics were really interesting,  some activities, depending on the age of your students,  can not be done, for example the activity were they have to make their own video. This activity will take a lot of time outside the classroom and it would be a great activity to be done with teenagers were they can get together and create a short video of their own production.
