Hello! My name is Maria Rosa!! You might think talking about my first time at the beach is silly, but it's not. I was born and raised in a small town in Sergipe's southern center, in the city of Ribeirópolis, where I used to spend most of my childhood. My city was very simple, and we didn't have much capital, which made life complicated.

Then, an incredible opportunity arose to work in another city, famous for its beautiful beaches, crystal-clear waters, and clean sand. It was one of the toughest decisions of my life. I thought long and hard about whether I should move, but I would often imagine myself living in a bigger city.

My job wasn't bad, but the salary was minimal. I needed to pay bills, and my family struggled financially. I had been looking for a better opportunity for years, and this was it.

What a beautiful story, Maria Rosa! Let's continue from there.

Even with your attachment to your city and loved ones, you considered the job offer in a city with incredible beaches. It was a chance to fulfill your childhood dream of seeing the sea and improve your financial situation, helping your family. After much reflection, you decided it was worth trying and accepted the challenge, knowing it would be a significant change.

Upon arriving in the new city, I was walking along the beach, feeling the excitement of stepping onto the sand and seeing the ocean for the first time. The sea breeze, the sound of waves, and the infinite horizon… It all seemed like a dream! This moment marked not only the fulfillment of a childhood dream but also the beginning of a new phase in your life, full of discoveries and possibilities.

As Maria Rosa settled into her new routine with the job and explored the coastal city in her free time, she realized it wasn't just the sea that enchanted her - it was the way people lived there, the different climate, the noise of boats by the beach, and the nightlife with seaside fairs. She had never seen anything like it before.

At work, the challenge was constant, but she felt each effort helped her grow. Whenever things got tough, she would walk to the beach, and the waves would wash away her worries. Gazing at the horizon reminded her of her purpose: a better future for herself and her family.

Over time, Maria Rosa made friends in the city and shared stories about Ribeirópolis. Her new friends were fascinated, and sharing about her hometown's simplicity, joyful moments with friends, and the life she left behind made her appreciate her roots even more.

Though she might return to Ribeirópolis someday, in the new city, she also found a home - one that had become part of her story and who she was becoming.

Between the ebb and flow of the waves and missing her family, Maria Rosa discovered that sometimes, it's necessary to step away to understand where your true home is and that, no matter where she was, she had always carried the best of Ribeirópolis within her."
