Because my parents not supported me.

Because it was far of my home and my family.

- What did help you adapt to your new life?

Music helped me, I watched many movies, I talked with my roommates and I made video call with my parents.

No, we don’t. We left home at 20. We miss them and visit them a lot.

We stopped in high school because of a knee hurt.

Yes, we did. We are moms of a girl named Ruth, we bought our house, and we are good with money.

yes, not invicible. But stronger, more at peace.

5-Do you still like to wear makeup?

Not as much as before. I learned to trust my taste and creativity. Now we're close to graduating as cosmetologists.

6-So we don't study agronomy?

I made many decisions and one of them was to study to be a teacher.

7-Why did you want to teach?

I realized that i could help. others grow and that healed me too.

8-Are we very far from the promise we made to mom?

Let´s live one day at a time. Soon we will achieve it.

Yes, we’re grown-ups now… and sometimes it’s scary, because there are really hard decisions. But it’s not as bad as we thought. It’s complicated, yes, but it also has beautiful things.

2. Are we what we wanted to be when we grew up?

We’re on the way. We wanted to be teachers, remember? And even though we doubted at first, in the end we did choose that path.

3. Do you still get nervous when you have to speak in front of others?

Yes, a little. But we don’t let that fear stop us anymore. We do it anyway, even if our voice shakes.

4. Do we still have our favorite doll, Dulce?

Yes, we keep her in a little box. She’s still with us. She’s a very important memory.

5. Are we still ourselves, or did we change a lot?

We changed a bit. We used to be very outgoing, and now we’re more shy. But we’re also stronger. We don’t cry about everything like before.

6. Do you still play with our toys?

Not like before… But we do other things that make us happy too, like going out with friends. And yes, sometimes I miss playing like we used to.

7. Did you imagine it would be like this?

No, I imagined it differently. But we’re okay. We learned a lot and now we’re more focused, stronger, more aware of what we want.

During my practicum, I worked with a third-grade class. I learned how to face challenges like diverse learning styles, hyperactivity, and a lack of motivation in some students. I found that music, stories, and dynamic activities were very motivating for the students and helped me become more patient and creative.

Aspirations as a Future Teacher (Future)

I want to be a dedicated, creative, and approachable teacher. My dream is to inspire my students, make them feel motivated, and help them become critical and responsible individuals who see school as a safe place to learn and grow.

My biggest challenges have been maintaining discipline and capturing the group's attention. In the future, I will face the challenge of addressing diversity and including all my students, as well as achieving a balance between my personal and professional life.

The teacher of the future I aspire to be. My biggest dream is to become a teacher who leaves a mark, not only for what she teaches, but for how she does it. I want to be the kind of teacher who not only focuses on the content, but also cares about the personal growth of her students. I want to create a safe and motivating environment, where each student feels valued and able to improve themselves.

During my teaching practices I have lived very significant experiences. One of the most important was learning to maintain discipline in the classroom; at first it was difficult for students to respect the rules, but little by little I applied control techniques that allowed me to better organize the group and achieve a more favorable environment for learning.

I also discovered that patience and perseverance are key to guiding students and that authority is not imposed with shouts, but with respect and well-thought-out strategies.

Aspirations as a Future Teacher (Future)

In the future, I aspire to be a teacher who not only transmits knowledge, but trains critical, responsible and motivated students. My biggest dream is to make my students see school as a space where they can grow and discover their abilities, and that they remember me as a teacher who knew how to listen to them, guide them and give them confidence.

One of the biggest challenges I have faced so far has been to gain the attention and respect of the students, since it is not always easy to establish a balance between discipline and closeness. I have also had to face my own nerves and insecurities when teaching, understanding that error is part of teaching learning.

In the future, I know that I will have to face even greater challenges: Adapt to new educational technologies, attend to the diversity of students within the classroom and keep up to date in my professional training. However, I believe that each challenge will be an opportunity to grow and consolidate my vocation, because I am convinced that teaching is a path of constant learning.

Personally, I think I'm already starting to face it day by day, with negative thoughts that will always exist, so the biggest challenge will be to trust me so that everything goes well
