Computers were very limited in the 1970's. Due to that, students were taught to type using a type-writer. Looking back at it now, type writers were an essential tool for authors, writers, and students. Making an era with a sense of purpose. Most of us love them, till our fingers start hurting.

Hearing squeaky wheels let us know we were going to have a good day. In the 80's, teachers would bring in a bulky TV to watch videos or movies within our lesson. Those days provided me and my friends a break from the usual routine, and we loved it!

In the 1990s, overhead projectors were a staple in classrooms. My class lights went dark while the transparent sheet came out. The sheet was placed on the glass, and my teacher would write out whatever it was that we were learning. She would wipe it off, and she could start all over again, like nothing was ever written on the clear sheet in the first place!

We had to share the computers we did have with our other classmates in the 1990s. Back then, to us, these computers were heaven! The majority of my friends would really only play games on it, like Oregon Trail!. The only way for the computer to start up was by inserting a disc into its selected slot.

Indeed, headphones are a required supply for school! Because of their size, most of my friends hide them by covering them with their hair. I'm so glad I won't have to wear wired and bulky headphones like the ones from the 1990s.

Regarding technology today, the only essential item for high school was a laptop, aka the Chromebook. Everything I need to do for our lessons in class is done on my laptop. Unfortunately, textbooks aren't being used inside classrooms today.
