Communication in means of issues that do pop up into the band. Instead of going off of instinct and exploding, making drama spread through the group, instead, have a system of begin safe enough to go to a person and talk things out with them.

Connection in means of being able to meet and become comfortable with anyone that you meet within the Brigade. Of course, there are going to be times of awkwardness, but the overarching idea is that these people are people that you can stand around with and at least be comfortable being around.
