Climate change is a series issue which people are causing by producing and creating greenhouse gases. According to The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), by the year 2030 the average temperature will have risen by up to 1.2 degrees. Some effects of climate change are irreversible by now but we still have time to change but it will mean closing hundreds of businesses. Crops will die, there would be no more trees and humans right now are making things worse by cutting down the only thing that could help us, trees. “Taken as a whole," the IPCC states, "the range of published evidence indicates that the net damage costs of climate change are likely to be significant and to increase over time." The IPCC contains over 1300 scientists in their research. They have documented and read scientific papers proving that this issue can’t be stopped if we continue on this path until 2030. By then, climate change will be irreversible and there would be no way to go back. Another bad effect of climate change would be more natural disasters (especially bushfires and hurricanes). Bush fires need heat so the entire planet would be the perfect places for bushfires to spread. Hurricanes need warm water to spread, so they would no problem to form and destroy thousands of houses and buildings in their paths.  According to NASA, by the year 2200, humans will run out of healthy oxygen to breath and the planet wouldn’t have any more air. This is because of deforestation and pollution by humans. This is why climate change is such a series issue and why I find it interesting and the reason why I want to do it for my exhibition this year.
