Penguin wings are unlike any other bird. They are solid, short, and stout. These feathers allow them to fly through the water.
The way they are shaped with their front and back tapered allowing for streamlining. They also keep their feet close to their tale when swimming for better stearing.
Some penguins have been known for swimming up to 9 mph.
This could be helpful for a more efficient boat propeller.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

Penguins have a unique adaption to the cold. The penguins feathers are what keep this bird warm.
Unlike a polar bear that uses it fur the penguin uses it layers of feathers to stay warm.
Bird feathers lay in what are called tracts with bare patches between them this is called apteria.
Penguins are the exception because their feathers do not consist of the apteria.
Their feathers also consist of three types of feathers. Afterfeathers, plumes, and filoplumes. These many layers help keep the penguin warm.
These feathers are also waterproof, short, overlapping, and tightly packed. This penguin is going through the molting phase where the penguin loses old feathers and gains new.
Feathers trap air to provide warmth : Emperor Penguin. (n.d.).

One of the problems is finding the perfect jacket that keeps us warm. Many jackets are only for looks this jacket will use the penguins adaption to the cold to help others stay warm and look fashionable.
Fleece jackets when washed leave behind synthetic fibers that are being released into our water system.
