Experiencing my mother’s struggles to get me out of our country, then taking me to Peru, and working tirelessly to build her own business was a life-changing journey. After a devastating scam forced us to separate for a year, she came to America to start over. Witnessing her unwavering dedication and hard work has profoundly impacted me. Her resilience has taught me the importance of perseverance, and it’s this spirit that drives me today to reach and fight for my goals.

I was 10 years old when I started 5th grade. Entering a school where I didn’t know English was challenging, but thanks to my mom, uncle, and the supportive education system, I was able to navigate my classes while learning English.
