Anders als beim Kinogehen oder beim DVD oder Blue Ray Schauen, wo die Auswahl minimiert ist, aber das was man am Ende guckt mindestens genauso zufrieden stellt.

Auch wenn bei beidem das analoge Erlebnis über das digitale gestellt wird, ist das Analoge beim Schauen noch nicht ganz aufgegeben, erst recht nicht vergessen und ein recht hoher Prozentsatz an Leuten hat mit dem digitalen Streamen ein weniger zufriedenstellendes Erlebnis, für das auch die schiere Masse an Vorschläge sorgt.

Mal abgesehen davon dass das Kino selbst ein beinah heiliger Ort ist, der genauso Herberge der Kunstform ist wie eine Galerie der Malkunst, Filme besser erleben lässt als es Flatscreens, Computer oder Smartphones je könnten und darüber hinaus die große Macht hat Menschen zusammenbringen, ist digitales Streaming auch unabhängig davon das es Lichtspielhäusern enorm schadet ein großes Problem. Nicht nur für die Konsumenten, die meiner Umfrage nach von einem gestreamten Film oft unbefriedigter sind, was in Zusammenhang steht mit der riesigen Masse an verfügbaren Filmen und Serien und die in ihrer Geschmacksformung enorm beeinflusst werden von Bots, sondern auch für die Kunst an sich. 
Denn während im Kino, oder selbst im mindestens genauso vorm Aussterben bedrohten DVD Schrank die Kunst im Vordergrund steht, wird auf Streamingplatformen alles runtergebrochen auf den reinen Unterhaltungswert. Es wird zwischen großen Werken und Schlechten kein Unterschied gemacht. 
Die schiere Masse an Angeboten soll davon ablenken, doch hinter dem meisten der Vorschlage steckt keinerlei Substanz. Man soll so lange weiterschauen bis man jegliches Gefühl für Kunst und Müll verloren hat oder (noch besser) abhängig ist von diesem Strudel an Filmen und Serien. 
Das ist das größte und gravierendste Problem.
Dass alles bei Streaming-plattformen so groß gedacht wirkt, doch in Wirklichkeit kleingeistig ist. Dabei ist das Grundkonzept ja ein gutes und es gibt einen Grund warum dieses scheinbare Meer an Möglichkeiten so viele Leute zu Netflix, Prime oder Disney+ Abonnenten macht, aber noch bleibt es Schein.
