I chose to spread awareness by making a comic.
in the comic a little girl I pestering her mom to get her a dog, the mom gives in and buys a dog. The little girl plays with it at first but then slowly gets bored with the dog and starts pestering her mom again, and instead of telling the little girl to take care of the dog the mom just agrees to buy her another dog.

to properly show how wrong it is to get a pet just for shows I drew the dog as a human being another girl, to show that they are a living thing a being too, in the last panel it shows the girl turning into a puppy.
