I teach 8th grade Culinary Foundations.

As I teach ELL kids K-5 with varied language skills, I assess differently depending on language and grade level. Students work in groups or with partners to create presentations on whatever topic they are studying; Journaling - reflect on own learning, given question; vocab - review & application; ability to follow given directions (to assess listening & comprehension); reports; you name it, I've probably use it.
