This Kaleidoscope project is an online community-based project. As part of this community, I wanted to create a website about cultures that are in danger to preserve it and prevent it from disappearing. The country I’m in charge of is ‘República del Perú’, Peru, a country which was the Inca empire in the past. I’ll write about those cultures in Peru that are almost disappeared or disappearing. I chose this country because the Inca culture is one of the oldest but kept clearly culture around the world. So there must be some culture that is valuable but disappearing, I want to keep that from happening. To make the website, I’ll use the freestyle canvas template from Padlet. This website is set up so that everyone who is interesting in the endangered culture of Peru can view this website. But I will set up as read-only, so they can view the website but only I can edit it. This project is designed to preserve Peru’s endangered culture that has been overpowered by the negative cultural flow of globalization and the widespread effects of “world culture”. I feel Peru’s culture is particularly vulnerable because the culture is so old and been destroyed several times by Conquistadors, Americanisation and so on. Few people actually can know the full picture of the culture.

This is an ancient Inca site in Peru. The structure of the site is that staircases spread out from the center of the site. Between the staircases, there are stairs for people to come down to the center of the site. The purpose of this low-lying land is uncertain, but most of the researchers determine it as an "agricultural research station". For each flor, the temperature of the soil has vast differences; and the position of the entire site is well exposed to the sun and rain. According to the above reasons, researchers determine this site as a station for Ancient Inca scientists to experience farming.
