Instead of going to uni I could go on a gap year
A gap year is where a student takes a year out of study but to apply for one you have to have something lined up after your gap year has finished. Gap year can be taken abroad and in England. Many gap year programs available will include your accommodation and food. There are different types of gap years these include working gap year, voluntary, travelling and studying. In doing a gap year it will improve many different things for example it will help broaden your view of the world so you will look at the world differently, you will gain relevant work experience and key skills which will help me if I chose to go down this route because it will help me when applying for jobs in the future. A big plus of doing a gap year is you will be earning a wage which is a massive plus before you start university.
