At my high school graduation at Forest Grove High School, there was a mariachi band performing, which really showed how strong Hispanic culture and traditions are in my community. it reflected the pride people have in their roots and how cultural values stay practiced during celebration while staying connected to heritage.

Historical

Pacific University was one of the earlier colleges in Oregon and was created to educate settlers and Native populations at the time of around 1849. The university still represents a large part of the cities identity.

This is a video showcasing a walk through the wetlands of Forest Grove. The city has a large environmental focus, as there is lots of greenery. Climate change affects small cities like this and their nature reserves.
