Today,  Santa Clarita,  also has gently curving roads, which serve the same purpose as the roads in  Levittown communities. This shows that useful traits of levittowns, such as curved roads to reduce traffic, are still used by suburban communities today.

However, there were usually minor variations on the exterior of the houses were usually different. In Santa Clarita today, houses  also have similar layouts with slightly different exteriors. The purpose of the similar-looking houses in both levittowns and Santa Clarita today was and is to make building houses easier for workers, as they would not have to learn how to build an entirely different house every time they constructed a house. Today, homes in Santa Clarita still use sliding doors, although nowadays they are used to connect closets to rooms, not rooms to rooms like  levittown homes. Today in Santa Clarita, the same tactic is still being employed, as shown by the picture below, although swimming pools are not the primary centers for exercise and leisure today in Santa Clarita.
