     He was born August the 18th 1978. He is 40 years old. As a
 father he has 2 children. He is an inventor. With Chad Hurley and Jawed Karin. They wanted to make a website to share videos with others.  He was born in Taipei, Taiwan. 
 The first video was created by Steve Chen at 8:27 on April 25, 2005. He created YouTube because at a dinner party he wanted to share videos from the party. YouTube is educational, fun , and helps people get news from news channels. The first video that hit one billion views was the music video by Justin Bieber called “Baby”.

We are researching Bill Gates. He was an innovator. He was born on October 28, 1955. Fun Fact: Bill Gates was the richest man in the world in 2016. His innovation was Microsoft. Microsoft is an American multinational technology company with headquarters in Redmond Washington. It develops, manufacturers, licenses, supports and sells computer software, consumer electronics, personal computers, and related services. 
This was our fifth grade report on Bill Gates for our Shark Tank project for GT.

He was a innovator who was inspired by a New York Times essay written by Christopher Bonanos about a man who blends technology and art together. In 1976 he made the Apple-1 and the went on a revolutionary path of technology and made the Apple-2, Apple-Lisa, Macintosh-128k, Macintosh-512k, Macintosh-plus, and the MacintoshXL. Then, in 2007, he made the first iPhone and in 2008 he made the Mac Book Air. He died of cancer on October 5, 2011. His last words were wow wow so that was Steve Jobs a revolutionary genius.

Fusajiro Yamauchi was the founder of Nintendo. Fusajiro liked to be called JP so that is what we will call him. JP was inspired by the first gaming console. The Nintendo was a great invention that is still around today. JP was inspired by a Japanese card game called Hanafuda. JP made the game because kids were bored of old board games. Nintendo started as a Japanese card game. JP was born on November 22, 1859 and died on January 1, 1940 of a stroke. So if Nintendo was not invented there might not be as much gaming consoles as there is today so kids would probably be playing outside. It has no educational process but it does give children entertainment.

He innovated the Keurig Coffee Maker. Keurig means excellent. He drank 30 to 40 cups of coffee a day, and was soon diagnosed with caffeine poisoning. He wanted to innovate this because he was sick of having to make so many cups of coffee each day. He wanted to get all of the coffee and caffeine in one cup. We are all glad he made it beacause today it would be much harder to get all of the coffee we wanted so easily. He found a man named Pete who helped him with his innovation so you can thank Pete for better coffee as well! Keurig sold $330 million worth of brews!! He also made K-cups that go with the Keurig Coffee Maker. You put the K-cup in the top of the Keurig and turn it on. After a few minutes your coffee will be ready!! John Sylvan created the coffee in the K-cups to go with the Keurig.

Jeffrey Bezos is an innovator. He created Amazon.com the virtual bookstore, but not the first online store. Amazon.com was founded in 1995. As a child he wanted to make his own company where people don’t have to go to the bookstore they can do it on there own. Booksellers required the company to order at least 10 books at once, but Amazon didn’t have that kind of sales volume yet. If Amazon was not invented a lot of people would not read as much as they do now that Amazon has been invented. Now there is a lot more than just books, you can get a lot of things like clothes, toys, and movies. He was born to Jacklyn Jorgensen and his biological father Ted Jorgensen they were married less than a year , when Bezos was four his mother remarried a Cuban immigrant Mike Bezos.
