Google Drive is a free to use software that allows for the creation, storage, and sharing of many types media, including photos, videos, links, google documents, slideshows, forms, sheets, etc. One very useful feature of this website is that it integrates all google products and other media into one space, making it easy to organize and start up your own projects. In the future, I hope to demonstrate this tool to students so they can use it to organize their own notes and work, and to make the sharing of their content seamless.

Slido is a paid software that allows individuals to embed live polls and Q&A's directly into their slideshows and virtual meetings. In my future practice, I hope to have access to this tool so that I can use it to ask questions of my students, evaluate their collective understanding of learning, and get them to consider the reason behind certain majority or minority choices/answers. This tool is also beneficial as it allows students to ask questions about assignments and learning in a way that is less overwhelming.

NearPod

Nearpod is a freemium software that allows educators to embed live polls, questionnaires, and classroom content directly into their NearPod Slides. Students can connect directly to the slides so that they have them on their device and to enable their participation in and interaction with lessons. I hope to use this resource in my future practice when I need to gage student comprehension of a lesson or what to create a less intimidating way for students to interact with content or to ask questions

Alloprof

Alloprof is a free software that provides educational content and practice tools based on the Québécois curriculum for teachers and students. This tool is especially relevant to me as a future French Immersion teacher kindergarten/elementary school teacher as I can use it to enhance my French lesson plans and show it to my students as a tool to practice their French grammar and writing skills.

Canva is a freemium platform that allows students and educators to make beautiful graphics and designs digitally. It provides the user with lots of templates and graphics to use for free to get their designs and projects started. As a future educator, I would use this tool to create different classroom materials, such as posters that might go up on the walls or in students duotangues and even to make a class calendar each month to be sent home to parents.
