Not only was there a battle on the field, but there was an
internal conflict, within me, between my true emotions and those I am allowed to
display. The ice cold expression brandished on my face is not an accurate
depiction of the internal breakdown I am currently enduring. I am an officer.
An officer in power. Any indication of my doubts would surely hinder our entire
operation; therefore I must remain a constant reminder of how we should be
acting: calm.
