The lighting brought on top of the sculpture sets a different mood. It makes it seem ethereal and I love it. This sculpture has influenced me because of her expression and pose she is doing. This on the ceiling of the Palazzo Farnese in Rome. It has depictions of mythological figures that span the entire ceiling. You can see the amount of skill it took to harmoniously blend the colors so well together as well as the skill of perspective. The amount of detail in this painting is amazing. I don't even know where to begin. I love the idea of putting paintings in the paintings. The colors look so amazing together. It looks amazing from viewing it from above because it doesn't look like a ceiling. It looks like the characters are floating above everyone telling a story. The colors and intricate details in this fresco is extraordinary.
