When I went to the beach over thanksgiving break with my friend. I could feel all the textures of sand with the shells in it. The touch of sand may make some people uncomfortable but I can find that the sand is very relaxing because I’m at the beach which brings me calmness.

When I went to soccer practice the other day. I could feel the touch of grass which causes people to be itchy usually. When I feel the grass on me I am usually very uncomfortable because I don’t like things touching me. The grass touching me makes me feel frustrated.

As a person who doesn’t like physical touch or hugs. When my friend asked me for a hug I was very hesitant about it because hugs make me uncomfortable but I powered through anyways. As hugs can bring some people joy I still find them very uncomfortable and stressful due to not liking being touch.

When i went to lunch with my family we had brought the dogs with us. The one dog really likes being held and he chose to sit on my lap which was not very comfortable because I am allergic to dogs. Even with being allergic to dogs they still bring me so much joy and calmness when I get to pet them and hold them.

One day I decided to get a tattoo of a cross on my arm. As people say tattoos hurt but to me tattoos don’t hurt they are just like something scratching or tickling you. Now the texture of where my tattoo is ruff instead of perfectly smooth. My tattoo brings me a sense of joy and happiness because the cross is very meaningful to me because of my faith.
