Because every subject is driving to each type of music, they will drive the course four times. They could end up learning the course and getting better, and therefore swaying the results. People could also be biased in the type of music they enjoy listening to. If they enjoy a certain type of genre it could sway the results because it could measure enjoyment instead of focus.

They could invent new safety features to lower audio sound for drivers driving at high speeds. This data could be very valuable in the automotive safety community because it could tell them what causes drivers to drive certain ways.

At the end of all of the tests, the average time for people to complete the course for the control group was 1:43 seconds. The average time for the country music genre group was slightly higher at 1:51 seconds, and the rap genre group was much higher at 2:03 seconds. The metal genre had the longest average time at 2:15. This data shows that no music, or our control group, was the most focused drivers and therefore, they were able to get the best average time compared to the other genres.
