Students rely so much on their Chromebook to read passages for them, use talk to text and other short cuts to make things easy for them so when they're challenged they tend to crumble under any academic pressure or expectations.

Our students struggle with pronunciation of words, and they have a tendency to skip over them. This practice takes away from their understanding of a passage.
