Unlike traditional physics, quantum mechanics is largely based on theories and probability due to the lack of knowledge scientists have on the topic. Quantum mechanics also has subsets like quantum entanglement that describes the so-called spooky connection between particles regardless of their distance from one another.&nbsp;</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Entanglement is basically when two particles are ‘mysteriously’ linked. When you measure a property like spin of a particle, you automatically can find out what the spin of another entangled particle is, even if they’re on opposite sides of the universe. <strong>Imagine this scenario: each particle was a coin and when you spin them on a table, will they land either heads or tails. </strong>You wouldn't know which coin if facing which until you check. Just like how a particle's spin is unknown until it is measured. If the coins become entangled and one lands heads, the other one has to land tails according to the rules of entanglement. The coins/particles are not communicating, “instead they're like two parts of a whole with a shared history and a mysterious inexplicable cosmic connection that's the magic of quantum entanglement."
