my name is Anthony Pena, one of my favorite things to do is play baseball the reason for this is because i love sports in general but i have always grown up around baseball which led me to loving the sport. my favorite movie is harry potter and the goblet of fire its my favorite because of the action and the storyline of the movie, my favorite show is all American this is my favorite show because of the story it follows and how i can relate to some things in the show. my favorite type of music to listen to is Latin but i can listen to mostly any type of because. some things i do for fun is play video games with friends or hangout with family or friends i really like being with others because anytime i'm with family or friends i have fun. my favorite type of food is cuban food like ropa vieja and fried plantain. the best restaurant for me in Miami is Flanigan's the reason for this is because i like the wings and the atmosphere in the place when there are sports games going on. the coolest place in Miami is the Brickel area next to the beach.

the future

my plans for the future are to study in something i would be interested in like psychology or sports media and keep playing baseball as long as possible and hopefully play in college maybe even in the pros. what I want to be when i grow up if baseball doesn't work is be a sports psychologist the reason why I want to do this is because a lot of athletes suffer with mental problems when playing there sports and a big part of having a good performance is being mentally prepared. the college I would want to go to is UCLA the reason for this is because they have a good sports psychology program it also seems like good place to study at, another college that I feel like would be FSU or U Miami

accomplishments

something i am proud of is being able to get better in my school work and make the baseball team the reason i am proud of these things is because i used to always get bad grades and now i have advanced classes and good grades, i'm proud of making the baseball team because i haven't played baseball for a long time. something i hope to accomplish in the near future winning a distract championship. i also hope to pass all my exams this year so later on i can get into the colleges i want to. some of my strengths is i am a good listener and some of my weaknesses is that im hard at math. i think there is always room for improvement in everything in life i think that even if you think your perfect and have learned everything you can always improve in something because nobody is perfect.

a moment when i felt like i was on top of the world was this summer when i was playing baseball and my team was losing but i was up to bat and hit a double to tie up the game that we ended up winning, that game i went 2 for 2 and was probably one of the best games i have ever played

the most embarrassing thing i have ever done was when i had to make slime for a chemistry project and me and my friend weren't able to do it and we had to get someone else to help us but the reason this was embarrassing was because even though we searched up a video on how to do it we couldn't even after trying twice and while we were making the slime we made a mess all around us.

if i was a teacher the type of assignments i would give the students is work that makes them use what we are learning in real life so hands on projects or activities to show the students how what I'm teaching is used in the real world. i myself am a visual learner the reason for this is because for me it seems boring just looking at papers and writing stuff down and I learn better when i use it or seeing it used outside of school. a fun assignment that could make this class exiting would be using song lyrics in some assignments like trying to analyze song's lyrics or write a song in a group, i feel like using songs in class could help all the students get inserted in the class because even though some may have different music taste we still all listen to music. some things that make a perfect class is that everyone can have fun, be able to participate in class and also the subject being interesting.
