Page 135.The setting is kind of dark and sad, and that helps me understand the story because ever since what happened with his dad, he has been sad. And they also took the family photos off the wall. Ghost is struggling with his dad's problems, even though it isn't his problems, but his dad kind of made it his. I wrote a jot one day that said; "Ghost Is letting his da'd problem get i his way of doing things, like sleeping in his bedroom or going in the storage room. Ghost is motivated by his mom, because he wants to be good for his mom and not get in trouble because it makes her stressed and she's already stressed enough. THis shows that Ghost has empathy for his mother because she has been through a lot. That kind of also brings up another idea for a theme, that family is important, and they will always be for you no matter what. Another theme is that Don't let one thing that happened get in the way of you having a normal life. Another is Let go of the past and focus on the future. I think ghost is feeling several ways about his dad. He said he misses the good side of him, but also wished he got more time in jail. In the text it said; " They gave him ten years in prison, and to be honest, I don't know if I'm happy about that or not. Sometimes, I wish he would've gotten forever in jail. Other times, I wish he was home on the couch watching the game, shaking seeds in his hand."

He came to america because his dad got promoted at work. At the beginning of the book Ravi sees Dillion a person in his class, winking at him, through out most of the book Ravi thinks Dillion wants to become his friend.
On Monday Ravi's teacher Mrs. Beam  tells him he's going to have to start going to Mrs. Frost, the special ED teacher.
After school Ravi was talking with his parents they told him to show off to his teacher.When he went to school on Tuesday he tried showing the teachers that he could do math very good but the teacher just said " We don't do math that way here". When it became time for social studies, the teacher asked what a word meant, Ravi said an answer but the teacher said he was wrong. 
On Wednesday at gym they played baseball, when Dillion pitched the baseball at Ravi he tried to make it hurt Ravi because Dillions team was losing. 
Ravi had to go to the nurse's office, while he was going to the nurse's office Dillion kept telling Ravi he did not hit him with the ball on purpose he said it was on accident.
After getting out of the health room he went to lunch. When he got to lunch he sat next to Dillion. Dillion asked if they could trade food Ravi said OK, Ravi took Dillion's  chili   and Dillion took Ravi's curry and chickpeas. When Ravi took a bite out of the chili Dillion said "like it ,it  has meat " Ravi spit out the chili Ravi said "what I'm vegetarian"  
Dillion started calling Ravi curryhead.
On Thursday Ravi didn't go to school.
On Friday they did show and tell, Ravi did a presentation about what he picked. Ravi and Joe pranked Dillion and thatb was how the book ended

Amina thinks she should be changing too since her friends and all the people she knows is changing. Amina wants to try out for the basketball team,but her parents think the opposite. They want her to do the singing contest along with her brother Mustafa who is forced to do it too for their church Amina is too scared and nervous to sing to a whole audience,and Mustafa he is just a teenage boy who is weird at doing things that he is forced to do. But as Amina matures more she realizes that Emily wasn't trying to replace her and she just didn't have any friends. and at the end Amina went to the singing competition and she was really nervous but she went unstage and sang and played piano. i really like this story i would rate it a 10/10

My characters name is Scoob,He is a curious and nice. In the begging Scoob was a regular boy going on a trip with his grandma but now  Scoob doesn't trust his grandma,he see's her switch licensees plate,have a  secret pile of cash and steel jewelry.He start to wonder about his mom,dad and grandpa.In the book him and his grandma are going on a unexpected road trip in grandmas RV which is bad because he is grounded because he got in trouble at school.Later in the book Scoob struggles to trust his Grandma. Scoobs is motivated by his family.In his road trip he learns a lot about his Grandma and Grandpa.After awhile people think that his G'ma kidnapped Scoob and it go's on the news.Ones Scoob catches G'ma smoking he finds out she has cancer.His dad picks him up at the hospital and the G'ma dies and him and his dand move to mexico

the setting is being brave and have other feelings and  it helps me understand how the other characters felt.
There were  some struggles that my character was having to overcome.the struggles where Amina was scared to talk/sing in public.
There's things that motivate my character like her friends and other things her teachers that are nice and motivate her.
