The song that resonated with me the most is, Wake Up Everybody – Harold Melvin & The Blue Notes. This song makes me think of how great it would be if everyone realized and held them self accountable for the part they play in the present and the future. All of us- students, teachers, parents, community members, administrators, counselors etc.- have a role in making our world a better place for the generations that come after us. We have to take action on our parts.

This song expresses the concerns of freshmen on their first day of school. I believe sometimes we as educators need to be reminded of the thoughts and concerns of a fifteen year old and how we can use that knowledge for engagement in the classroom.

I would have had each record themselves lesson planning and/or teaching, then have a partner provide celebrations and feedback on curriculum implementation.

I would love to do that with my students next semester, since I receive new students. This will give me an opportunity to explore the diverse backgrounds of my class and hopefully make adjustments to the curriculum.

This really allowed me to see different perspectives surrounding the topics.

I think hearing each other's voices and becoming familiar with faces would have been an added bonus to the course.
