Many people believe that as America grows with time, the scarcity of jobs increases. Some believe this happens because "illegal alien workers" are taking the jobs of U.S. citizens. Some people believe this is unfair because those hard working people are known as identified according to the article "Illegal Aliens Taking U.S. Jobs" as people who snuck into this country to only have a better life. Because striving for a better situation and living is a crime. Illegal immigrants coming from Mexico and Central America take up "40% of illegal population."

According to a USA Today article," making up 16.7% of the workforce...2005." This means that this so called "issue" of immigrants taking American citizens' jobs has been seen but hasn't reached this much attention until now. It was also stated that, " Immigrants made up about 47% of the nation's workforce expansion from 2004 through 2014." People say that immigrants are taking the jobs of the American citizens but in the article of "Pros and Cons Immigration" explains how it is very beneficial when it comes to having foreign trading partners. People believe that illegal immigrants are only taking advantage of the job opportunities that America has to offer, not only that but are taking the jobs of American citizens. It is stated in a New York Times article, "he earns up to $25,000 a year, which is considerably less than the average entry wage for New York." If an immigrant is living less than the average American, how is this considered abusing and taking advantage of this country?

The illegal immigrants that are being hired affect the economy in a positive way because they work for a lower wage. This is very unfair but people cannot say that these illegal immigrants are taking over the American economy, when these immigrants are being worked under horrible conditions and for a very low wage. According to a New York Times article, it is often a requirement for the illegal immigrant to learn a skilled job in order to get paid the amount the job is normally waged. Instead of the economy being affected in a negative way it is being affected in a positive way by the companies hiring illegal immigrants because it doesn't require the same amount of money, health insurance and provides benefits when it comes to foreign trading. It is not fair treatment but it is not a justification to think of illegal immigrants as non humanlike creature.
