My duties will be group counseling for those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I will also do individual counselling for those with P.T.S.D., specifically M.S.T. (military sexual trauma).

In my role, I may often interact with licensed social worker and psychologists. In Texas, licensed social workers must hold a masters degree and are an amazing resource for veterans in distress and those facing drug abuse and that are unhoused. Psychologists hold doctorates in philosophy. They also do counseling and sometimes liaise between psychiatrists and L.P.C.
